Paul Betz joined NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in 2008 as administrator and CEO.

In 2001, Betz joined the Baptist system as assistant administrator at Baptist Union City. Within months, he was promoted to administrator of Baptist Lauderdale, where he served for almost three years. In 2004, Betz accepted the position of administrator and chief executive officer for Baptist Tipton, where he served until accepting his position at NEA Baptist.

A native of West Tennessee, Betz was born in Jackson and reared in Memphis. He graduated from Germantown High School in 1989 and attended Lambuth University, graduating with a bachelor's degree in business administration. In 1995, he graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he received his master's of business administration.

After graduate school, he completed his hospital administrative residency at Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. He was hired by Memorial as an assistant administrator and then promoted to associate administrator. He is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Scott Childers joined Baptist Healthcare in 2008 at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi after a 25 year career in the United States Army. While in the Army, Scott led field medical units for several years including a combat tour in Iraq. He subsequently served in Army community hospitals until retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel.

In his current position as Assistant Administrator of NEA Baptist Hospital, he is responsible for the Surgical Hospital of Jonesboro as well as the ancillary and support departments at NEA Baptist.

Scott has a Bachelors degree in Psychology and has earned a Masters degree in Healthcare Administration from Baylor University. He is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Paula Grimes Paula Grimes

Paula Grimes has been a member of the NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital team since 1996. Currently the chief nursing officer, she previously served as director of ICU and CV services for the hospital. As chief nursing officer, Grimes is responsible for planning, implementing, directing and controlling activities and operations in nursing, pulmonary and rehabilitation services as well as in patient care areas.

Grimes earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing degree from Arkansas State University. She is a member of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society for Nursing. She received the NEA chapter of the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, "Excellence in Nursing of the Critically Ill Patient" award in 1999 and 2001. She also served on the American Heart Association board from 2000-2003.

James Keller James Keller

Before joining NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital in 2009, Keller - a graduate of Arkansas State University - worked in the human resources department at Ascent Children's Health Services in Jonesboro and also served as the human resources generalist at FedEx and human resources manager at medical device maker Stryker, both in Memphis, Tenn. At his most recent position with Ascent Children's Health Services, Keller was responsible for everything from employee relations and recruiting to providing training seminars and implementing best practices for employee development.

Keller earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management degree with emphasis in Human Resources from Arkansas State University, and he went on to obtain his Master of Arts degree in Organizational Management from University of Phoenix. He is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management.

David Webb David Webb

David Webb joined NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital as chief financial officer in February 2010. He is responsible for several departments, including patient financial services, patient registration, health information management, materials management, and the hospital's financial planning and budget processes. He also serves as the chief privacy officer and compliance officer for NEA Baptist.

His professional experience includes health care financial operations, consulting and public accounting. Webb earned a Bachelor of Accountancy from Taylor University and a Master of Accountancy from Northern Illinois University. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Jonesboro.
