Baptist Behavioral Health Care's chemical dependency unit is a 30-bed inpatient substance abuse unit that offers a medical detox in a safe, comfortable environment.

Health Care Staff
A multidisciplinary treatment team cares for patients in the Inpatient Chemical Dependency unit. The team is led by board-certified psychiatrists and comprises:

  • Board certified psychiatrists
  • Alcohol and drug counselors
  • Nursing staff
  • Social workers
  • Psychiatric technician

Who Can Receive Treatment Here?
People who are 18 years of age or older and who need treatment for chemical dependency issues are eligible to receive treatment at the Inpatient Chemical Dependency Unit.

The Admissions Process
Our initial assessment is free, and admission may be arranged through the Baptist Behavioral Health admissions office. Individuals requesting medical detox are eligible for this program. Emergency referrals are accepted 24 hours a day.
