Paul Cade
interim administrator
Paul Cade is Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle's interim administrator. Cade has served as assistant administrator at the hospital since 2004. He oversees hospice, Baptist Centers for Cancer Care-Golden Triangle, marketing/community relations, rehabilitation services, behavioral health services, diagnostic imaging, laboratory, pre-admission testing and ambulance service. Before joining the leadership at Baptist Golden Triangle, Cade was chief executive officer and administrator of Baptist Memorial Hospital-Forrest City from 2002-2004 and assistant administrator of Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County in New Albany, Miss., from 2001-2002. He began his career with Baptist in 1993. Cade holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a master’s degree in education from Mississippi State University as well as a master’s degree in administration with a concentration in health care from Central Michigan University.

Jimmy Robertson
chief financial officer
Jimmy Robertson returns to Baptist Golden Triangle as chief financial officer after serving in the same capacity for both Baptist Tipton and Baptist Lauderdale for the past four years. He is also responsible for accounting, business office, internal audit, Baptist CD, inpatient validation and health information management. Robertson began his Baptist career in 2000 as controller for Baptist Golden Triangle. Before joining Baptist, he was a health care consultant and has worked as an auditor for Medicare and Mississippi Medicaid.
Robertson, a licensed CPA in Mississippi, has degrees from Millsaps College and Mississippi College.

Mary Ellen Sumrall
chief nursing officer
Mary Ellen Sumrall is chief nursing officer of Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle in Columbus, Miss., a position she has held since 1999. She oversees 20 different areas of the hospital involved in patient care, education, employee health and staff development. Sumrall began her career at Baptist Golden Triangle as a charge nurse in emergency services in 1988. She served as director of education from 1993-1996, director of emergency services and critical care from 1996-1997 and director of emergency services and preadmission testing from 1997-1999. She has been an important part of the planning and development of two multimillion dollar expansions at the hospital and has facilitated the opening and accreditation of many different programs. She holds a bachelor’s of science degree in nursing from the University of Mississippi.

William O. Lancaster
assistant administrator of support services
William Lancaster is assistant administrator of support services for Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle in Columbus, Miss., a position he has held since 1993. He oversees information services, food services, plant operation, respiratory care, pharmacy, safety and security and environmental services. He oversaw the design and construction of the $40 million expansion of Baptist Golden Triangle during 1996-1998 and the $34 million patient tower project completed in 2005. Lancaster holds a bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University, a master’s degree from the University of Mississippi and a certificate of health services administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
