Your rehabilitation begins by answering one question — what do you want to be able to do when you return home? Answering that question will allow our staff to set up your plan of care. Your rehabilitation team will be under the direction of a physician with extensive experience in rehabilitation, as well as registered nurses who provide 24-hour specialized care. Therapists with special certifications in orthopedics, sports medicine, brain injury rehabilitation and the treatment of neurological disorders, including neurological developmental training or functional training that encourages normalized movement and use of affected extremities, also help provide expert care to patients. 
We also have a pharmacist, clinical psychologist and speech-language pathologist, as well as occupational, recreational respiratory and physical therapists to meet your health care needs. Case managers and social workers act as your liaison and help coordinate your discharge plan. In addition, a chaplain is available at any time.
Your team members provide you with exercises and other helpful information to assist you in continuing rehabilitation following your stay at our hospital. At Baptist Germantown, we're committed to doing everything we can to help you achieve a high level of independence.
