At Baptist Memorial Hospital-Tipton, we are excited and proud to be an integral part of the fabric of this community. We take pride in providing high-quality health care to our patients, and believe it’s our responsibility to actively participate in and support the community we serve even beyond the walls of our hospital. Through the care we provide to patients each day, as well as the many activities and programs we conduct that enhance the health and well-being of our community, we strive to live Baptist’s mission of preaching, teaching and healing.

As we reflected on our service and activities this past year to develop this community report, we noted how committed our physicians and colleagues are to making our community a better place to live. This year we raised more than $8,000 for the American Cancer Society through the Relay for Life event. We also contributed countless volunteer hours in support of the March of Dimes WalkAmerica campaign, as well as providing numerous free health screenings across the community for senior citizens and local businesses.

When you consider all our efforts that provided benefit for the community this past year – whether through providing charity care for the indigent or such activities as free health screenings for the community - our total community benefit amounts to $14.8 million. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you, and we continue to pledge our commitment to advanced care.
