General Classes and Events Smoking Cessation Classes Monday evenings, 7:15 p.m., starts Oct. 8 Thursday mornings, 7:15 a.m., starts Oct. 11 Friday mornings, 7:15 a.m., starts Dec. 7 Baptist Tipton is offering three, seven-week smoking cessation classes. The first class for each session is listed above. There is no charge for the classes, but registration is required. Breastfeeding Classes 3rd Saturday every other month, 10 a.m. to noon Becoming a mother for the first time comes with plenty to learn. Baptist Tipton is here to help by hosting breastfeeding classes for new moms. Taught by a certified lactation counselor, the class covers the basics of breastfeeding, getting started, returning to work and resources for assistance and information. New dads are welcome and encouraged to attend, as well. The cost is $10 for mom and one support person.
