The Alzheimer's Caregiver Support Group is a monthly support group meeting for caregivers. The goal is to empower them by providing emotional support and education. Trained volunteers facilitate the meetings. Network meetings encourage members to share information, exchange coping skills and form support systems for themselves and their family. Family members are educated about self-care and community resources as well as how to care for their family member with Alzheimer's disease.
