Redbirds Strike Out Stroke
The Memphis Redbirds will host its annual "Strike Out Stroke Night" on Friday, May 30 to honor stroke survivors, raise awareness for the disease and raise money for a camp for survivors and their caregivers. During the game, which starts at 7:05 pm, fans will learn more about stroke, the third leading cause of death in the U.S., and hear first-hand how stroke has affected the lives of survivors. In addition, $4 from each ticket sold will benefit Baptist Memphis’ Retreat & Refresh Stroke Camp, a weekend-long camp that helps survivors and caregivers improve their quality of life.
