Estimates for any Inpatient visits, Outpatient visits, procedures, or diagnostic tests performed at Baptist Memorial Hospital are merely estimates. The estimate cannot be relied on as the final, set cost for services you may receive. Actual expenses can and will vary from patient to patient depending upon your physician’s treatment choices and your particular health care needs.

These estimates do not include expenses for the following services:
  • Physician’s charges for visits in the physician’s office
  • Tests or procedures performed in the physician’s office
  • Physician’s charges for services performed at Baptist Memorial Hospital
  • Anesthesiologist charges related to a surgical procedure performed at Baptist Memorial Hospital
  • Anesthesiologist charges for an epidural (pain medication) provided to women during childbirth

The expense for an Inpatient stay can vary widely based on your length of stay in the hospital. Estimates are based on the average charge for each diagnosis.

Type of prosthesis or device used contributes to the total charge. As such, the charge for these services can vary widely.

Your personal financial responsibility depends on the actual services you receive and the benefits and coverage provided by your insurance plan.
