Learning Objectives

After participating in this continuing education activity, participants should be able to:

  • Describe the latest medications and treatment modalities for stroke and cardiac diseases.
  • Discuss life-saving measures and interventions for valvular disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and stroke.
  • Identify the indications and appropriate use for novel therapies to treat dyslipidemia, atrial fibrillation, stroke, pulmonary embolism, and coronary artery disease.

Target Audience

Primary care physicians, cardiologists, neurologists, hematologists, pharmacists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses, and allied health professionals.
