Nuclear Medicine imaging uses small amounts of radioactive material, a camera and a computer to create images of the inside of your body. Depending on the type of exam you are having the radiotracer will be inject, inhale or taken by mouth. Once the radiotracer is in your body Nuclear Medicine imaging is a safe and non-invasive test to provide detailed pictures for your physician.
