  • Plan ahead. When traveling to the hospital, allow extra time to get through the construction during peak traffic times.
  • If possible, avoid traveling during peak times, which are 6:30-8 a.m., 3 p.m. and 5-6:30 p.m.
  • Expect delays.
  • Follow the signs posted in work zones. These signs will provide important information to inform drivers about lane closures and warnings as each construction phase progresses.
  • To avoid additional delays, please travel using the Humphreys Boulevard hospital entrance/exit near the Baptist Memorial Hospital for Women.
  • Weekly updated construction information is available 24 hours a day by calling the TDOT construction hotline at (800) 858-6349.
  • In addition to the hospital cafeterias, there are several food outlets conveniently located on the hospital campus.
