Baptist employees set new records in giving during the 2004 Above & Beyond colleague giving campaign. Including gifts of personal time off (its monetary value), the Baptist Memorial Health Care Foundation received more than $315,000 during the drive, compared to $278,000 in 2003.
In October of each year, the Foundation initiates the campaign to raise money for services and programs the Foundation supports, including scholarship funds, Baptist Centers for Cancer Care, the Baptist Heart Institute, Baptist Trinity Hospice, charity care, the Employee Emergency Assistance Fund and many others. Colleagues are able to specify the type of donation and where they would like their money to go. One hundred percent of the money raised goes to benefit its designated destination.
