Nominations are open for the 2024 Baptist Advanced Practice Provider Excellence Award! The 2024 nominations will be May 20 to July 1; this is the window when APP award nominations can be made. Nomination deadline is July 1

This year Baptist Memorial Hospitals and Baptist Medical Group will present the second annual Advanced Practice Provider Excellence Award. Every year, this award will be presented to an Advanced Practice Provider who demonstrates excellence in collaborative care and has made noteworthy contributions to promote patient wellness. The 2024 winner will be announced at the APP Conference on September 20.

Who’s eligible?

Any Advanced Practice Provider with 1 or more years of service or affiliation with Baptist Medical Group or Baptist Memorial Hospitals, including:

Nurse Practitioners (NP)
Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM)
Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS)
Certified Registration Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA)
Physician Assistants (PA)

Who can submit a nomination?

Any Baptist Team Member can submit a nomination for the Baptist APP Excellence Award using the form below . The deadline for nominations for the 2024 award is Friday, July 1.

How are nominees evaluated?

Nominees will be judged on the following criteria:

Exceptional clinical knowledge
Exemplary relationships with both patients and team members
Unwavering commitment to high quality care for all patients
Commitment to the APP profession

Nominees should also distinguish themselves through exceptional contribution in one of the following areas. Contributions to multiple areas will improve a nominee’s chances:

Quality or process improvement
Patient care innovation
Trainee teaching
Mentorship
Community service
Team-building
